about

"A biosphere includes all living organisms and inhabited places on the Earth. It can be thought of as a unified ecosystem that makes up planet Earth.

The study of the biosphere forms the backbone of scientific ecological studies because the biosphere is Earth's ultimate ecosystem, encompassing all the smaller ecosystems. Some interesting biosphere facts include:

¤ In 2011, a scientific study published in the academic journal Nature estimated that there are between 7.4 and 9.0 million species of eukaryotic organisms on Earth. Scientists have not yet discovered approximately 85-90% of these species. Bacteria and archaea, which are prokaryotes, were not included in this estimate.
¤ Bacteria live as far down as 5 km below the Earth's surface and could potentially live as far down as 10 km below the Earth's surface. According to a paper by Thomas Gold in 1992, microbial biomass within the lithosphere could weigh trillions of tons.
¤ A species of vulture (Gyps rueppelli) flies as high as 11,000 meters in the atmosphere, about 37 thousand feet. Wild ducks (Anas platyrhynchos) have also been found at altitudes as high as 6400 meters. Scientists know these birds fly in extreme atmospheric altitudes as some have collided with airplanes.
¤ A few rare species of bacteria can live in the atmosphere and induce cloud precipitation through a process called bioprecipitation. For example, the bacteria Pseudomonas fluorescens performs a biochemical reaction called ice nucleation inside clouds, turning water vapor into ice crystals and causing rain to fall.
¤ The mud collected from the Challenger Deep (almost 11,000 meters below sea level) in the Mariana Trench was rich with fungi, bacteria, and archaea." - Bryce S.

This, 24 minutes long EP contains 6 randomly generated songs which are reflecting to our nature. They are not organized by man, but forces, which are not visible to the naked eye, but all the more real. They are forming a chaotic, yet repetitive sound mass.

For the best experience, listen to them with a big, 10-20 sec crossfade.
